They said they would have my furs to me by august. Then it was Sept then it was the first of Oct. When I called they said they had sent them out then I didnt get them so I called back then they found them and hadnt sent them out. Then they called back and said they had been sent on Oct 6. Well here it is the 28th and no furs. I had issues with them last year as I DID NOT get MY furs back but some others that were poorly taken care of. Now I sit here waiting for furs that I dont even know if they are mine or not and they keep giving me the run around. Anyone else have issues with them.

Had issues in the past with not getting my own furs back from Moyle, so was happy when I hooked up with Furs For Fun.  Hector may not be fast, but he has always been fair and given me a good product (MY OWN) back when I send him good fur.  Maybe it is just the law of averages at work here.  If you ship enough fur to tanneries, sooner or later you will have a challenge or negative outcome.  JMO for what it's worth! X2 on AKfurman's comment regarding Fur's for Fun.  I started sending fur's to them
last year and have had good service from them so far.    I had an issue with Moyles
a couple years ago and they never made it right (not even an apology ) so I won't
do business with them again.  But that's just my own experience and opinion,  I
know some have had good luck with them.

Okie,  I sent F-F-F  some lynx and otter around the middle of April and some
beaver around the first of May and just got these back about a week ago.  I sent
another shipment  around the end of June and another around the middle of July
and have not received them back yet.   He did a good job on the ones I have
got back.
I've had good luck with USA Fox in the past, but the last batch of beaver I sent to
them came back looking like they had been ran through a paper shredder and then sewed back together.   All stitched up so they almost looked like a tanned beaver
hide.  Smiley
But, USA Fox is the only outfit I could find that plucks and shears, soooo.... I sent them some more. That was in June and haven't gotten them back yet, so we'll see.
I think AKFurman is right though, from what I've seen it is somewhat of a gamble
whereever you send them.

That brings up a question Okie.  I want some fur lined slippers too.  My wife has been sewing trapper hats, baby booties and parka ruffs for a long time, but has not made
slippers yet.   So are you planning to make them yourself or have them made by
someone else?   Any input from you (or anyone else on here) as to stlyes, patterns
or what to do on the soles for longer wear life would be appreciated.

Well after many many many phone calls I got MY furs back and a 100 dollar credit at Moyles. Not happy with them BUT once I made contact with the customer service lady she called me daily with updates. I'll probably send them some more next year because of her. She made things right in my mind. At one point the owner told me to go take pics of the fur he lost at a store with prices and he would send me a check. That could have gotten spendy on his end and he knew it but he was willing to do it. I think Moyles is so good at what he does that its the demise of him also. Any troubles with Moyles ask for the customer service lady and then mention sandy dube told you to get with her. She is great I tell ya she will get it handled for sure.
