AFTA General Meeting - start 7:00pm

Introductions
-Treasurer's Report
-Secretary's Report
Motion to accept reports by Steve Schafer, second by Earl Bragg, all in favor, none opposed, passed unanimously.

OLD BUSINESS:

330 release for dogs - kits

Sending $500 donation to Fur Takes of America
-time to renew membership (cost $100/yr)
Steve Schafer motion to send cost of membership, second by Earl Bragg, all in favor, none opposed, passed unanimously.

-advisory committee election update
-next meeting 7:00pm MTA building in Palmer on December 3

-Susitna valley A.C. update.

NEW BUSINESS:

AOC membership expires 12/31/14
-renew membership amount necessary, up to $100 - motion made by Steve Schafer, second by Al Spencer, all in favor, none opposed, passed unanimously.

-Pennsylvania trappers association wants donation to assist with trapping and trapping issues in their state. Discussion followed on why it's important to donate to other trapping associations. donations can be cash, membership, t-shirt, etc.
-done 4 memberships and 4 t-shirts to support their 2015 rendevous in June - Steve Schafer motion, second by Al Spencer, all in favor, none opposed, passed unanimously.

- Mat-Su dog rescue training at Menard center - contacted AFTA to let us know that a person is trapping there where they train their dogs. A few dogs were caught in snares and footholds. No injuries, just wanting to let us know and to pass on being cautious of trapping in more populated areas.

Elections - discussion of by-laws and nominations. Members would like to do elections differently from here on out, more publicized. Discussion and by-law committee groups to start - TBD

Vice President - Josh Hunsaker

Secretary - Nick Start

Treasurer - Jamie Bragg

Sergeant at Arms - Earl Bragg
