i'm heading up to avtec this fall and will have my rods with me. i'm bringing all my fly gear and most of my spinning gear. whats your favorite lake/river for trout and grayling? i was told about carter lake and looked it up on google and it looks like a good drive up there. any one got an opinion on the fishing or the road up to it? is it a dirt/gravel road?

thank you

Cody

any one doing any trout fishing? i've been getting a few. tonight i fished for about half an hour and got three. a 12" dolly, an 8" cutty, and a 16" cutty. there were a ton of trout on that river. i've never seen so many before. they were flipping and jumping all over the place. couldn't stay too long because i was on a walk with my mom and sister but still had fun.

i got one this spring. pulled all my traps but my skipper leaves this weekend so i wont have to work and might take the skiff out and try the floats i built. i have a dam i only took one out of (50 lbs) and there should be some left. i figured that would be a good place to test out the floats.
